September 21, 2017 Sponsored Events No Comments

The Aruna Run was created to honor specific enslaved women and to help with their freedom. The staff at the event will assign a specific woman that you will run for! You might run for Khushboo, Fathima, Mamja, or many others. “Run for their freedom!” The generous sponsors for this event allowed all proceeds from registration fees to go straight to the Aruna Project. The Aruna Project is an international humans rights organization that helps bring and sustain freedom for the enslaved in South Asia. Participants will make a huge impact on the lives of others and any contributions are greatly appreciated. Participants will receive an Athletic Drawstring Backpack, Long Sleeve Shirt and a Finisher Medal. Food and Prizes will also be available at the end of the race.
