Minimus Road
Men's
The new Minimus Road is New Balance's take on the minimal, barefoot-style shoe, designed specifically for the demands of road running. The Minimus features a barely-noticeable 4mm drop from heel to forefoot, as well as a wider forefoot
to accommodate the natural expansion of your foot as you absorb forefoot impact. To give the barefoot feeling, the Minimus has no insert and an extremely scant midsole and outsole. Naturally, this adds up to a weight of just six ounces - about 50% less than a traditional running shoe - making you light and quick on your feet.
Minimus Trail
Women's
The Minimus Trail is the result of a collaboration between New Balance and Vibram. Like the Minimus Road, the Trail features a tiny 4mm heel-to-forefoot drop, no insert and minimal midsole. Vibram brings their experience with barefoot-style trail footwear to the outsole, with aggressive knobs that will provide great traction in any terrain.
