This is a tough time of year to run. I don’t have a treadmill so I do all my miles outdoors. It seems that I always have some sort of little ache or pain from slipping around on the ice and snow. That and it’s cold. And dark.
I don’t know about you, but I could use a little pick-me-up. Hopefully this will help encourage other winter runners out there too.
The positives of winter running right now:
Training for a spring marathon!
Days are getting longer!
Training in snow makes you tougher!
Wow, that’s all I could think of. Let me know if I missed any! Hope everyone’s winter training is going well.
